What happens when you take a mountain “creature” and drop them in an island draped by plains? Instinctively senses raise and danger feels near. The sea, with its unpredictable movements, defies constantly my existence, and the plains hold no refuge, nor no accountancy of my place within my immediate habitat. This fear, this angst, and oppositely the safety felt once again when returning to the mountains, is what inspired this series. It's like returning home, to one’s own bed, under one’s own bed sheets.
